College can be a crossroads of belief. Sometimes college students begin to question all sorts of things about life and God. Doubts about spiritual things come in all shapes and sizes. We all question things from time to time. There are tiny doubts that fly through your mind. You might be questioning if you're heading to the right college. You could be wondering about lots of things in life, and you even begin to wonder why you doubt in the first place.

Did you know that your interests growing up probably are related to the future direction of your life? What do I mean? From the time you were in kindergarten, God placed inside of you natural abilities, dreams and desires. When you came to know Jesus Christ as your Savior, spiritual gifts were added to the list. Today, you are on a journey to discover how God desires to use you on earth for His glory. After all, He made you.

As you leave high school and enter college, the world is wide open to your dreams. This is such an exciting time for you! The options are endless. The will of God is laid out in front of you like a Sunday buffet ready to be devoured. For some, this is exhilarating; but for others, it is stressful. There are so many options.

In a time filled with changes, it's good to know God is faithful, even in your college years.

You've heard all the pros about what makes a Christian college a valuable and beneficial choice for higher education. You're heard all the arguments against attending a Christian school. However, all pro/con lists aside, have you considered who you are and if a Christian college actually would help you become the person you want to be?

As the college hunt became impossible to put off any longer, I begrudgingly dragged my heels to a few college fairs and visits. I had finally come around to my mother's opinion that Penn State was not for me, but I didn't have any real direction to help eliminate the other 50,000 options out there. So we began to pray. I have an incredible mother, who I have watched seek the Lord my entire life. We prayed that our "gut feelings" would align and that we would be in agreement as we looked at colleges for me.
