Harding is located in Searcy, Ark., a community of 20,000 50 miles northeast of Little Rock and 105 miles west of Memphis, Tenn.
Harding is a four-year, private, residential coeducational liberal arts university affiliated with the churches of Christ. The university serves more than 6,000 students, all from a diverse variety of backgrounds.
The university offers 10 undergraduate degrees in 90 academic majors, 13 preprofessional programs, and 12 graduate and professional degrees in its colleges of Arts and Humanities, Bible and Religion, Business Administration, Communication, Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Sciences.
In addition to its degree programs, Harding offers learning international opportunities. More than 30 percent of each graduating class has spent a semester at one of Harding's international campuses in Brisbane, Australia; Viña del Mar, Chile; London, England; France/Switzerland; Athens, Greece; Florence, Italy; or Namwianga Mission, Zambia.
In 2008, Harding was named once again to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Last year an estimated 3,344 students, faculty and staff contributed more than 66,750 hours of service.
