Malone Values

We believe that what differentiates us from other colleges and universities can be found in these four Malone values:

   1. Shared Passion for Learning and Excellence

   2. Commitment to Christian Values

   3. Powerful Sense of Community

   4. Spirit of Cooperation

Education that Inspires, Values that Guide Your Life

For Malone faculty, teaching is a ministry. Here, we have a long-standing tradition of small classes, personal attention, and faith-based learning. Through the integration of faith and learning, Malone teaches and affirms Christian values like integrity, honesty, respect, service, and hard work. Our faculty are dedicated teachers, scientists, artists, writers, athletes, and researchers who are also dedicated to helping you discover God's purpose for your life. Because they know you, they will hone your talents, sharpen your focus, and broaden the many possibilities life holds for you by challenging you to think in new and different ways. Our professors sign a profession of faith. They teach because they care deeply about their students, and they teach here because they also care deeply about being active people of faith.

Spirit in Action

Malone is a Christian college that integrates faith with learning. More than 40 religious denominations are represented on campus. Many participate in mission and service learning work during high school, and again get involved in service-learning at Malone. Faith groups are abundant on campus — from the twice weekly chapel services and student-led Celebration worship services, to groups focused on social gatherings, intramural and other athletic competition, fellowship, missions, Bible study, and denominational gatherings. Malone is about the bonds of faith and friendship, and of knowledge and service that form in this challenging, contemporary, Christian community

A Vibrant College Community

At a size of over 2,000 students, there is always something going on at Malone. Besides the numerous clubs and organizations and the many faith-based events, favorite things to do on campus include hanging out at in the lounge and game room in The Barn (Randall Campus Center), drinking coffee in Froggy's Café, enjoying arts events, cheering for athletic teams, sledding down Malone Hill, and working out in the Wellness Center.

An Investment in a Faith-Based Life

Getting a great education that integrates faith with learning is an investment that ensures you will have the skills to not only make a living, but also to make a life. More than 90% of Malone students receive some form of financial aid. Scholarships based on academic achievement, athletic accomplishment, leadership ability, and talent are available. Need-based financial aid, including grants, work-study, and loans are also available.
